Who is Lucy
Lucy is a women’s life coaching located locally to Rockhampton QLD, her passions lie deep in helping women to heal from their past experiences through mind and body work so they can be their most confident selves - without the fake it till you make it vibe.
Lucy has two businesses; Lucy Tomkins Coaching, where she works with individuals in a personal setting and Educate Us; where she speaks in education settings and corporate spaces to bring more depth to the wellness and mental health of an organising
Lucy grew up in Domestic Violence and understands first hand the challenges that come with a complicated past - it’s through these life experiences she has turned her life around from going down a path of drinking, drugs and numbing - to now being a woman who is devoted to support women (primarily) and men to live a life better than they could have even imagined. Lucy truly believes growth, healing and wellness gets to be simple, it gets to be joyful and it gets to be a communal experiences
She has seen many events pop up over the last few years, charity events in particular and has found one key element missing - the element that helps change peoples lives, one word at a time, while equally supporting needed charities in the community. Hence, the vision was born
TO CREATE SOMETHING BIGGER THAN SELF
While Lucy loves the work she does; from 1:1 coaching, her signature group coaching program ‘The House of Confidence’, retreat/immersion events; she always knew she wanted to give back in a way that had nothing to gain for self. Simply gain for a community mission that needs it more.

We’ve teamed up with The Station 4703 AGAIN to bring back our DAY FOR THE GIRLS carity day events.... a charity event that’s outside the box, deliciously fun, and heart-centered.
The station was established in 2023 in the gorgeous town of Yeppoon QLD and brings an ambient, spacious and breathtaking space for this event. The station are collaboration partners with Lucy Tomkins Coaching and will be continually bringing charity events to the local area over the years to come
We genuinely cannot wait for the atmosphere of this charity day, the electric energy, the laughter, fun, connection and amazing conversations! And what better place to have this than right on the coastal doorstep of Yeppoon
WHY THIS EVENT EXISTS
As a women’s life and confidence coach, Lucy has over half a decade listening to women’s hearts, deepest moments and heard many celebrations. There is one things she has noticed in recent years more than anything
- More women than ever are craving wellness and community where they feel safe,
- They want to start growing, but don’t know where to begin,
- They want to meet other like-minded women, but they feel alone,
- And they want to do all of this in spaces that feel safe, vibrant, and fun.
So Lucy thought: What if we created something beautifully different? Not just another high tea, not just another lunch or casual get together
A day where women could eat, drink, learn, laugh, connect, grow, and give back to something greater.
This isn’t just a ticketed event. It’s a movement in heels, a rebellion in laughter, and a celebration of womanhood in all its powerful, messy glory.

CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: TBMM BE KIND
All profits from A Day Out for the Girls will go directly to the TBMM Be Kind charity.
This organisation was founded in loving memory of Tayla Black and her daughter Murphy Margaret – two radiant souls whose lives were heartbreakingly cut short.
In their honour, TBMM Be Kind now champions:
Safer communities,
Everyday acts of compassion,
Support networks for those in need,
And spreading kindness through action.
Their message is clear: Kindness changes lives.
And we’re here to amplify that legacy — together.
This charity is one that lands at home with many people in the Local CQ community and Lucy wanted to highlight the amazing work TBMM BE KIND does both in front of open doors and behind the scenes that no one often sees. This is a moment for our local community to give back in a way that's ‘BIGGER THAN SELF’.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Our colour theme for this year is PINK AND WHITE... please dress to impress.. we will be doing a best dressed on the day. So girrllll get that frock out and ready to rock
Q: Can I come solo?
A: Yes, yes, YES! Even though we are selling tickets in tables this year, if you do wish to purchase a singular ticket, please reach out to Lucy Tomkins and she will facilitate this for you
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Just yourself and some cash if you want to buy tickets for the lucky door prizes ($5 per ticket). Everything else is sorted for you — including food, bubbles for the table and gift bags
Q: What are the LUCKY DOOR PRIZES?
A: Well…. We are leaving some surprises for the day itself, however there will be 3 amazing lucky door prizes for different experiences. Think ‘self love’ prize, a ‘day out’ prize and a ‘night out’ prize
Q: Will there be dietary options?
A: Absolutely. Just let us know when booking and we’ll make sure you’re catered for.
Q: Can I buy a ticket for someone else?
A: Yes. Whether it’s a surprise for a friend or a gift for your sister, you can buy extra tickets — just include their names at checkout.
Q: Will the venue be open to the public during the event?
A: No. The Station will be shutting the venue down for our charity event, making it an exclusive and special day
